Furniture and Fair Stand Design, University of Applied Science Stuttgart 2014

For the IMM Cologne 2014 fair a kitchen consisting of standalone units was designed and build. The kitchen should be innovative and different to the other kitchen on the market. At the exhibition the units were arranged as they would be in a real kitchen. The boundaries of the fair stand were marked on two sides with oversized kitchen towels as we know them in Germany. The lettering of the University of Applied Science fits well into the pattern of the towels. The glass cabinet of the kitchen is made of wood cylinders and old lids of cooking pots. Inside the cylinders plates, glasses and books as well as bottles can be stored. The cylinders are stacked and integrated inside a steel frame.
